That’s 6 years of intense study and classical training in the guitar technique, music theory, and ear training used to create masterful arrangements. I’ve been teaching guitar for over 10 years and have learned, in that time, how to communicate and structure lessons in a way that guarantees growth in my students.
- By God’s grace and through the support of my family and an incredible community, my YouTube channel has become one of the largest and fastest-growing classical guitar channels on the platform, reaching over 370k subscribers and surpassing 40 Million views across my videos. Every single music video on my channel features one of my own arrangements, so I have been able to build a career entirely around arranging.
- Most importantly, I’m passionate about arranging. I was so burned out on music when I finished grad school that I cut my fingernails off (if you’re a classical guitarist, you know how serious that is)! I was tired of playing the same music everybody else was and had over-worked myself to the point that guitar wasn’t fun anymore. After a few months of not touching the guitar, I decided to try something different. I combined my skill with the guitar with my love of movie, tv, and video game soundtracks and started creating a new and unique repertoire for myself by making my own arrangements. I instantly fell in love with the arranging process. I was playing music that had meaning to me, while being able to add my own creative touch to it. Arranging single-handedly restored my passion for music and for the guitar, and I want to pass that same passion on to you!
